    MOOSALAMOO NATIONAL RECREATION AREA

    There are many back country skiing and snowshoeing opportunities within the Moosalamoo National Recreation Area - either on well-marked trails or bushwhacking your way through the woods. Equipment rentals are available. All trails are ungroomed.

    A winter recreation center providing over 50 km of professionally groomed trails for Nordic skiing, winter biking, and snowshoeing. Offering a rentals shop, lessons, food, and unspoiled beauty in the heart of the Green Mountains.

    MIDDLEBURY COLLEGE SNOW BOWL

    Uncrowded skiing and riding for all abilities at an affordable price on 500 acres of open terrain with 17 trails and 6 glades. Full-service ski shop, professional ski school, and great homemade food.

    Skating Skating

    Skaters can thrill to an outdoor journey along the frozen Lemon Fair River or go indoors at Middlebury’s Memorial Ice Rink.

    Snowmobiling Snowmobiling

    Snowmobilers can enjoy miles of trails maintained by the Vermont Association of Snow Travelers (VAST) and share them with cross-country skiers.
