    As the Warehouse Lead at our Moriah warehouse, you will play a pivotal role in our warehouse operations by overseeing and coordinating daily activities to ensure efficient and effective warehouse management. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse associates, optimizing processes, and maintaining a well-organized and safe warehouse environment.

    Title: Warehouse Lead
    Location: Moriah Warehouse Mineville, NY
    Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt
    Reports to: Operations Manager
    Schedule: Monday-Thursday; 6am-4pm
     
    Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse associates, assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and ensure they are completed accurately and efficiently, foster a positive and collaborative team atmosphere to promote productivity and job satisfaction.
     
    Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, receiving, and shipping, assist in conducting regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies, ensure the proper storage and organization of products to maximize space utilization.
     
    Shipping and Receiving: Oversee the receiving and inspection of incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, prepare and coordinate outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to customers, and ensure all shipping and receiving documentation is completed correctly.
     
    Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control processes to minimize errors and reduce product damage, perform regular quality checks on products to maintain high standards.
     
    Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce safety protocols, including the use of PPE and adherence to safety regulations, report any safety incidents and work towards preventing future incidents.
     
    Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements, work closely with management to implement best practices and streamline warehouse operations.

    Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
    • Proven experience in warehouse operations, including leadership roles.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills. 
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficiency in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in various temperature conditions.
    • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.

    The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training.
