Hiking and Archery Instructor

CGC looks for positive,energetic individuals to lead hikes and teach archery. Pay is stipended and benefits include room and board. This position can easily be combined with other positions to increase your weekly stipend! Positions available from July 26-August 15.

This position involves:

• Leading groups of mixed age (children and adults!) campers on hikes, ranging in length from 1-3 hours;
• Leading beginner archery classes for mixed age groups. Archery experience not required, training and certification available;
• Taking direction from the Program Director and Camp Director;
• Arriving on time for the entire scheduled shift;
• Preparing supplies for programming;
• Light cleaning and tidying to make sure spaces are sanitary and clean;
• A sense of humor, enthusiasm, patience and self control
• Other duties as assigned.

• Experience working with children and families
• First Aid/CPR and lifeguard certification a plus
• Archery certification a plus
