Master and Jouneyman Plumbers
Silver Maple Construction is expanding its Mechanical Division. We are currently seeking full-time, benefits-eligible Master and Journeyman Plumbers focused on high-level customer service and the execution of complex and cutting-edge residential HVAC and plumbing systems. Responsibilities
*Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.- Work with architects and designers on new builds, remodels, and renovations, including reviewing plans.
- Partner with project managers and lead carpenters to ensure the harmonious and expeditious completion of specific assignments/projects.
- Manage, supervise and conduct repairs, installations, replacements, tests, and troubleshoots of the water and distribution system, including valves, fixtures, and outlets.
- Install new water, piping, and fixtures by blueprints, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
- Assist other department staff members or contractors on projects or equipment installations requiring plumbing expertise.
- Act as a resource and may train other staff members so they can perform light plumbing maintenance and repair in a compliant and safe manner.
- Perform general maintenance and building system operational duties as assigned.
- Respond quickly to emergencies, summoning additional assistance as needed.
- Versatile and creative in crafting mechanical systems.
- Other duties as assigned.

Plumbers work in various settings, some of which may contain hazards. The main occupational hazards plumbers may face include:- Exposure to hazardous substances
- Proximity to flammable products
- Above average noise level in the work environment
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and working on a project
- Working in awkward positions, confined spaces, or at heights
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more with assistance
- High manual dexterity
- Exposure to electricity, high temperatures
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Journeyman and/or Master Plumbing License
- Basic computer and software skills
