Camp Counselor

CGC looks for creative, caring individuals to work in their youth programs. Programs include day camps and the
Kidville program during family camp in the summer. Pay varies based on experience and position. Positions available from July 21-August 15.

This position involves:

• Working as a part of a team to provide supervision and engaging programming for youth ages 3-13;
• Upholding the emotional wellbeing and physical safety of youth in the program;
• Taking direction from the Program Director and Camp Director;
• Arriving on time for the entire scheduled shift;
• Preparing supplies and coming up with activity plans;
• Light cleaning and tidying to make sure spaces are sanitary and clean;
• A sense of humor, enthusiasm, patience and self control. Camp counselors must understand what it takes to be a positive role model.

• Experience working with children
• First Aid/CPR and lifeguard certification a plus
