Part Time Housekeeper

The Strong House Inn is looking for a part time housekeeper to join our crew. We are a 13-room bed & breakfast, with a small team of dedicated crew to welcome our guests and provide high quality, comfortable lodging and events to the area.

Position Title: Housekeeper
Reports to: Housekeeping Supervisor/Owner

Job Summary:
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout the property. This position requires efficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to clean the needed rooms and public spaces on a daily basis in accordance with established standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Guest Room & Common Area Cleaning:

• Clean and refresh guest rooms quickly, neatly, and efficiently.
• Ensure guest room corridors and common areas are tidy and presentable.
• Maintain neat and organized housekeeping supplies, storage areas, and equipment.

Guest Service & Professionalism:

• Maintain a friendly and approachable attitude toward guests and colleagues.
• Present a clean and professional appearance while on duty.
• Respect and handle all property equipment with care to prevent damage.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Identify and report any maintenance, mechanical, or electrical issues in guest rooms.
• Properly label and submit all lost and found items to the housekeeping supervisor or owner.

Additional Duties:

• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the housekeeping supervisor or owner.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

The Housekeeper plays a vital role in ensuring guest comfort and maintaining the property's reputation for cleanliness and hospitality.
