Facilities Support Associate
Our Safety & Maintenance personnel are the behind the scenes employees who ensure our grounds and facilities are always safe and secure. They also lend a hand with general maintenance and other tasks as needed.
What You'll Be Doing:- Patrol Duties: You'll be patrolling designated areas on foot or in a vehicle, keeping a keen eye out for anything unusual and recording your patrols.
- Safety Audits: You'll perform preventative equipment and facility safety audits using provided checklists.
- Surveillance: Monitoring cameras and gates from computer monitors will be part of your daily routine.
- Alertness: Watching for irregular or unusual conditions that could pose security concerns or safety hazards is crucial.
- Emergency Response: In case of fire or unauthorized persons, you'll sound alarms or call authorities.
- Rule Enforcement: You'll warn violators of rule infractions like loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden items.
- Access Control: Permitting authorized persons to enter the property and monitoring entrances and exits will be part of your duties.
- Incident Reporting: Investigating and preparing reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities is essential.
- Assistance: Providing courteous and professional assistance to employees and visitors is a must.
- Maintenance Tasks: You'll complete various bottling, production support, and maintenance tasks as requested.
- Vehicle Policy: Abiding by the company vehicle policy and speed guidance when using vehicles is mandatory.
Skills You'll Need:- Communication: Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
- Public Interaction: Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
- Effective Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Listening: Active listening skills.
- Situation Assessment: Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively.
- Critical Thinking: Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately.
- Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a production operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining product quality.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
- Physical agility and stamina for standing, bending, and lifting.
