Program Director

The Program Director coordinates the daily services of the shelter in alignment with CHC’s strategic goals, ensuring service delivery meets guest needs and stakeholder expectations. Responsibilities include overseeing shelter operations, food and nutrition programs, and street outreach. Under the Executive Director, the Program Director leads staff in providing coordinated, professional, and respectful support services to our guests through well-informed practices.

The right candidate will have: 

• Bachelor’s degree in social services related field 
• At least 3-years’ experience managing direct service residential programs
• Direct experience working in a 24/7 shelter environment or similar program
• Demonstrated experience leading teams of 5 or more
• Strong leadership and system management skills
• Strengths in the areas of empathy, listening, problem-solving, and decision-making

• Annual salary ranges from $65,000-72,000 based on experience
