    Patricia A. Hannaford Career Center is seeking a full-time, year-round Finance Assistant to work in the business office.  The Finance Assistant supports the Business Manager and will assist in all finance functions including payroll, benefits, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank
    reconciliations, budgeting, purchase orders, reporting, and financial analysis as needed.

    ANNUAL SALARY: $50,000 - $65,000 depending on experience plus a generous benefits package with excellent Health, Dental, Life Insurance and time off plans.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Prepare and process purchase orders
    • Process accounts payable on a bi-weekly basis
    • Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll
    • Assist with preparation of quarterly/annual reports associated with payroll
    • Assist with bank deposits and bank account reconciliation
    • Assist with maintaining accounting and budgeting software for all school funds
    • Generate reports for expense and revenue tracking on request
    • Interface with faculty, staff, vendors, and other key stakeholders
    • Provide clerical support and various administrative duties as needed
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • A minimum of 5 years of finance experience and/or associate’s degree
    • Knowledge of fund accounting and GAAP fundamentals preferred
    • Proficiency with IT solutions: Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.
    • CRM experience and familiarity with accounting software highly preferred
    • Strong verbal and written communications skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain professionalism, and upholding confidentiality at all times
